  4. │ Waztree V2.00 has been distributed as a complete shareware product in a  │
  5. │ file named WT200.ZIP 420,588 bytes.  This file WAZTRE20.ZIP has the same │
  6. │ product less to two communication programs (WTMODEM & WTVOICE) and       │
  7. │ INSTALL.EXE.  It has been provided for BBS distribution reasons to allow │
  8. │ shorter download time and still get a functional product.  The product   │
  9. │ will work the same except you won't have access to using the communica-  │
  10. │ tion programs which allow calling other computers and voice lines.  They │
  11. │ are accessed through the main menu a simply won't work.  The install     │
  12. │ program was left out of this archive as well.  To install WazTree just   │
  13. │ copy all files to a directory ie. C:\WAZTREE then go to that directory   │
  14. │ and type WT <enter> to run.   Enjoy!

  224. 3.  Installation

  227. To install WAZTREE on your hard disk:
  228. a.   Place Disk in drive A.
  229. b.   Type: INSTALL and press ENTER.
  230. c.   Follow the directions displayed on the screen.
  231.  
  232. If you don't want to use the install program supplied then copy the
  233. following files to a directory on your hard disk (example: make a
  234. directory named Waztree "MKDIR WAZTREE").

  241. If you had Version 1.5 and have installed V2.0 delete file
  242. "WAZTREE.HLP".  This was the help file which is now part of the

  247. 360k floppies as well.

  269. 4. Tips on using WazTree
  270. ------------------------

  272. *    You can set up formatting diskettes using Application menu.
  273.      For example if you have a 1.2m floppy and want to format 360k
  274.      set up the following application than when you want to format
  275.      360k floppies just select it.  Set up: Press F4 to get
  276.      Applications, press F2 with mark over blank application, enter
  277.      ie. C:\DOS\FORMAT.COM A:/F:360 <enter> then name the
  278.      application "format A: as 360k".  You could set one up for
  279.      each of the type of floppies you have then formatting will be
  280.      a easier.

  282. *    If you don't want to use Waztree's editor then you can specify
  283.      your own by command ctrl z and after the ID entry you can
  284.      specify complete path and name of your editor.

  286. *    If you use your own editor and edit the same file often you
  287.      might want to enter the editor and document in an Application
  288.      selection.  Example of Application command line:
  289.      C:\EDITOR\ED.EXE MYDOC.DOC

  315. 6. Using Mouse Drivers with EGA and VGA Graphics Cards
  316. ------------------------------------------------------
  317.  
  318. Early versions of mouse drivers don't support screen display modes
  319. larger than 80 columns by 24 lines. As a result, your mouse driver
  320. might not work correctly when you use WAZTREE enhanced display
  321. modes EGA 80x43 or VGA 80x50. The following chart will assist you
  322. in determining if your mouse driver will work correctly with the
  323. enhanced display modes.  You can usually get an updated driver via
  324. BBS's.
